The Capitol Hill Block Party (CHBP) music and arts festival is returning for its 25th year with a stacked lineup of talented performers across multiple stages in the heart of Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. The festival promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for all attendees. The event is set to take place in the heart of Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, from July 21-23. Daydream State, the festival organizer, recently announced the headliners for the three-day event: electronic music group Louis The Child, Grammy-nominated electronic duo Sofi Tukker, Florida rapper Denzel Curry, British singer PinkPantheress, and indie pop trio MUNA.
The festival’s general admission and VIP passes will be available for presale beginning Tuesday, February 28 at 9 a.m. PT, with a public on-sale scheduled for Friday, March 3 at 9 a.m. PT. “We’re excited about this 25-year milestone and cannot wait to celebrate with everyone this year,” said Kate Harris, Sponsorship Director & Associate Producer of Daydream State.
In addition to the headliners, Daydream State aims to feature music on nine different stages throughout the festival. These stages include Main Stage, Vera Stage, Neumos, Barboza, Cha Cha, Cafe Racer, Wild Rose, Havana, and Chophouse Row. Like in previous years, the festival will also offer free community events and activities in the surrounding neighborhood.
Joining the impressive lineup of national artists are a host of Northwest bands, including PNW-based music icon Goth Babe, L.A.-based indie rock band Momma, Seattle-based indie pop songwriter Sea Lemon, local Seattle DJ Samurai Del, and Sammamish-based electronic musician Surf Mesa.
Daydream State, the festival’s organizer, owns and manages several businesses in Seattle, including Lost Lake Cafe, Comet Tavern, and Neumos. Earlier this month, the organization also announced the lineup for its DAY IN • DAY OUT 2023 festival.
For 25 years, the Capitol Hill Block Party has been bringing people together with music, art, and community in the heart of Seattle. The event has grown from a one-day event with only five bands and a few DJs in 1997 to a three-day festival with over 100 performers and thousands of attendees.
