Located at the heart of Seattle Center, the Climate Pledge Arena is a transformed historic landmark that was originally built for the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair. It is the proud home of the Seattle Kraken of the NHL, the Seattle Storm of the WNBA, and some of the world’s most phenomenal live music and events. This magnificent arena serves as a constant reminder of the pressing need for climate action and stands as the first net-zero carbon-certified arena in the world. The Climate Pledge, co-founded by Amazon and Global Optimism in 2019, is an initiative to urge companies across the globe to attain net-zero carbon emissions by 2040. On October 22, 2022, the Climate Pledge Arena officially opened its doors.
Although there are parking lots and garages, it is highly recommended that you use the Seattle Center Monorail, Light Rail, or other public transportation to get to your event.
