Washington’s iconic Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery is set to host a record-breaking 39 shows as part of its Summer Concert Series, which is its largest summer concert lineup ever. The 39th Summer Concert Series will kick off with James Taylor & His All-Star Band on May 25th.
The series, which will run from late May through September, will feature acts across pop, rock, jazz, blues, and country at its historic 118-acre winery. Notable artists performing on the outdoor stage this season include Kelsea Ballerini, Charlie Puth, and Fitz and The Tantrums. Each show takes place in the winery’s picturesque outdoor amphitheater, just 35 minutes outside Seattle, with seating for 4,500 per show, including general festival seating on the lawn, as well as reserve seats. This season, fans will be able to purchase expanded seating options, including lawn reserve, VIP seating, and private group cabanas.
The Chateau Ste. Michelle wine shop will be open before all concerts with wine and picnic items available for purchase. In addition, an array of food vendors will offer a selection of menu items for sale in the amphitheater. Concert-goers may bring their own picnic baskets and unopened non-alcoholic beverages. In June, Chateau Ste. Michelle will also release its popular Midsummer’s White blend featuring this season’s concert artwork on the label, with $1 from each bottle sold benefiting the Chateau Ste. Michelle Scholarship Fund.
Guillermo Sanchez, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Chateau Ste. Michelle, says, “We are honored that enjoying a concert at Chateau Ste. Michelle has remained a beloved summer tradition in the Pacific Northwest since 1984. We believe music, like wine, has the power to unite, create connections, and shared experiences. We’re eager to make this a season to remember.”
Chateau Ste. Michelle has recently announced its partnership with Live Nation, the world’s leading live entertainment company, to become its first official national wine sponsor at 78 of Live Nation’s venues and three music festivals across the country. As part of this partnership, Live Nation will expand its management of the Chateau concerts.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with the world’s leader in live entertainment to take our concert series to the next level and deliver elevated experiences for music fans in our community,” adds Sanchez.
