Content Contribution Guidelines
The Rocket accepts articles, photographs and more for publishing consideration from industry professionals and content producers in the greater Seattle-Tacoma metropolitan area.
The Rocket prefers submissions from contributors who are very knowledgeable about the industries and topics we routinely cover. We publish a wide variety of topics related to the local entertainment and arts community, as well as some general lifestyle topics. Topics can be found by navigating our main menu.
Content must be unpublished, intended for publication in The Rocket only. Don’t submit content that has been published elsewhere. Articles should be of appropriate length. Reviews may be on the shorter side, while articles hoping to be published as a Feature should be of significant length.
The Rocket cannot offer payment for contributed content at this time. However, publishing in The Rocket can help establish or bolster your standing as an industry expert and gain credibility.
While it should go without saying, we do require content creators to behave responsibly and ethically. Proper research and balanced reporting are expected when appropriate. Any plagiarism, in full or partial, will result in a permanent ban from future submissions.
Submissions are subject to approval. We can’t publish all submissions and approval is at the sole discretion of The Rocket’s staff.
