Their influence has only grown over time, and they’ve been brought onstage by none other than Bruce Springsteen, who wanted to play one of their songs. Frontman Mike Ness’ melodic, road-tested lyrics tell tales of love, loss, and lessons learned, all while the band’s searing guitars and locomotive rhythm section keep you moving.

Their most recent release, Hard Times And Nursery Rhymes, debuted at #4 on the Billboard Top 200, and was the highest debut the band has seen yet. It was also the #1 Independent Album and the #2 Modern Rock/Alternative Album on the week of its release. Social Distortion has experienced a significant amount of firsts in 2011, including their late night television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live and playing festivals like Reading and Leeds, Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits for the first time.
